Peggy Rambach is an author and community educator who runs writing workshops in health care and elder care facilities, social service centers and correctional facilities. She currently teaches creative writing to incarcerated men and women at the Suffolk County House of Correction. Rambach offers empowerment and healing by helping the underserved to transform and communicate life experience in the forms of fiction, poetry and memoir.
She has also contributed to the field of medical humanities. Rambach is the author of the novel Fighting Gravity and two memoir anthologies All That Matters and Seeds of Lotus that emerged from her work in social service and health care facilities. She is has also published articles about her work in the Journal of the American Medical Association and The Christian Science Monitor.
